My analysis of Israels response to Iran's missile attack

 Apparently you may have seen news like "Iran Responds to Israel's Military Strikes with Humorous Memes and Videos Celebrating Resilience", was Israels attack on Iran a laughing stock? was Israels attack thwarted?

Firstly I feel Israel wants to deescalate tensions with Iran but the attack was not lack luster but a real show of strength. Iran only fired ballistic missiles but it did light up the sky in Israel as it had fired almost 180 as per reports. Firing missiles is a piece of cake because it doesn't really put any of your forces at risk, you just fire and keep your fingers crossed that it wont get intercepted by Iron dome, the missile defense system.

In stark contrast, Israels response was very different, crossing two countries Syria and Iraq and about 1000km, it had used over 100 fighter jets, two mid refueling tankers, one AWAC system or airborne early warning and control aircraft. It also had some rescue aircraft in case they took some hits.

Key thing to note is that they didn't take any hit, Iran as per reports scrambled its own jets to intercept but there is no confirmed reports of them actively pursuing Israeli's fighter jets. Seems about 20 Military sites were hit in this operation many of them were drone, ballistic missile and air defense systems.

Key things to note are, with over 100 jets used in the attack, Iran was unable to shoot down even one. This is the show of strength and a warning to them by Israel, its a message that we can come after you anytime, don't mess with us, but some naive news channels and internet users are spreading memes without understanding the finer details
